For Sale Cannondale T2000 touring bike, Circa 2000. $599

This bike is located in Pittsburgh, PA

I believe this is a 2000 model year, color is smoke. This was built up from a bare frame so every component is new or refurbished to like new condition. Very few miles on bike since being rebuilt.

Made in the USA (Bedford PA) Cannondale. This is a true touring bike made for long distance adventures and hauling bags and Panners. Equipped with with treking bars for multiple hand positions to help eliminate numbing of the hands.

The T2000 was Cannondale‘s top-of-the-line touring bike and one of the best frames made.

Beautiful bike in A1 condition.

Set up with front and rear touring racks to accept panniers.

Shimano Deore group set, friction shifters, 27 speeds

Frame size is 22.5, good for riders 5‘-9“ to 6’-2

I found this as a partial bike in 2014 - several components were missing or in need of replacement. The bike was taken down to the bare frame, cleaned and lightly wet sanded (clear coat). Three coats of clear coat were applied, then the bike was built to like new condition. Frame is nice - no dents or bends.
