Cannondale M600

I have had this Cannondale M600 sitting in the shed unused for quite a while. I bought it new in the late 90‘s. The frame stamp indicates the frame was built in 1993, and it seems to resemble a 1994 model in the catalogs, although the specs of mine don’t match 100% (ie catalog says LX rear derailer, whereas mine has XT rear derailer).

As far as I am aware, everything is original, except for the pedals.

Any ideas of the value, or if this is desirable to anyone?

I am located in Melbourne, Australia.

Thanks.

I think you have it right, a 1994 M600 in what looks to be excellent condition and mostly original. I'd guess the XT derailleur was original despite what's listed in the catalog, and it's an upgrade to boot. I have no idea what the market for it would be in Melbourne, but if it was local to me and my size, I'd be happy to give $300 US for it.

A great example of well preserved 1994 M600. In my opinion one of the most beautiful Cannondale frames and paintjobs out there. I just bought similar in NOS condition with full LX set for 700€, I know that was too high but I really needed it. This should be well around 300€ in Europe.

I agree. You couldn't buy anything close to comparable new for 300€, and the original poster's bike looks to have only been ridden a few times.

Great that you found a NOS example. I really like that era of Cannondale MTBs.
