I'm the second owner of this fantastic race machine. Condition is 8.5 of 10. 2002 was the LAST YEAR of Volvo co-sponsorship, with Cannondale. All-original frame and fork, mainly intact. The CAAD5 MTB frame was Cannondale's finest frame, ever handcrafted. Bike is currently running 700c Mavic 29er wheels. Solid operation, nonetheless. Can easily revert back to OEM 26" or 27.5" wheels. Below is list of all hand-picked, added components:

The only requirement is the Headshok needs servicing. It still locks-out, but there is a small amount of travel(5-8mm) before it fully locks. Unlocked the 75mm Fatty Ultra DL fork still works like butter. The original paintwork and frame construction is absolutely stunning: Cannondale certainly won't make bikes like this, ever again. I will also include the original Fizik Plateau saddle(stock photo) and period-correct, 2002 size medium matching Team Jersey. I nearly waited 4 years, before this bike came up for sale. Since adding parts, I have put less than 250 road and gravel miles TOTAL, in this bike. I now have other projects to do... so my loss is your gain. Ready to ride out of the box, including pedals!
