With a heavy heart, I’m putting my near-catalog spec, 1998 Cannondale F1000 for sale. This was a special, COVID19 lockdown project I was burning to do, since my original was stolen in 2001. TInker Juarez signed the bike in 2020 and he said it brings fond memories of Volvo-Cannondale at the zenith of their world MTB dominance. Alison Sydor has admired it herself, because she was on top of the world on this bike. I was ready to have her sign it, but the virus prevented it from happening.
I have only ridden it twice, and it climbs effortlessly. The bike is a true, winning machine and I’m honored to have owned it with pride. My objectives has changed and I’m ready to pass this torch to the next Vintage Cannondale enthusiast. Pictured is everything I will include with purchase. Asking $1900/shipped to contiguous USA. Will ship globally at buyer expense. The red Look pedals are actually Tinker’s race set in the 1997 UCI season. In fact, Tinker has used many of the parts on the bike.
