Hi Everyone. I'm in York, UK. This is my father in law's 1992 M700 that he has just donated to me. It's been well used by him, he win several mountain bike events on it back in the day. It's well maintained but has been modified in places over the years. I intend to use it.

I've got the original purchase reciepts, paperwork and setup info etc.

I have the brand new original pepperoni forks if anyone is interested in a purchase.

Thanks for having me along.

Thanks guys. I've no idea on the other forks but as I'm planning on using the bike I think the suspension will come in handy. Plus, it would be a shame to 'spoil' the pepperoni's, especially if they can help someone do a rebuild / original restoration.

Vintage suspension forks can sometimes be a problem to maintain. That and the weight factor would be my reasons for putting the original fork back on the bike. I am not you though, we could have considerable differences in our riding style, terrain ridden, pace, etc. What works for me may be hateful to you.

For use on the road the pepperoni is great, with some thick slick tyres (2.35 is no problem in this frame)
This wil be a super ride
