Are you sure it's a 1989 model? I don't see silver on any of the 1989 road bikes.

Pretty sure according the serial number. All the paint has been stripped. Originally it was white and blue, it was pretty messed up. it’s down to bare aluminum. I want to make it as light as possible. It has a set of thick slicks on it now and has campy chorus everything

That would have been the 7 speed Athena equipped SR900. Too bad about the paint.

Hello,

this is a 1990 probably built in 89. The rear dropouts are 90+.

with no paint, you can built it to whatever model you like. I would look thru the 1990 catalog.
