1987 16" SM500

Hey everyone,

Just came across this late 80's Cannondale. Does not appear to be in terrible shape, but certainly in need of a restoration. I believe it's an SM500 but I'm not having much luck finding info on the serial numbers with inch sizes in them.

SN: 16061887110

Any insight on this would be much appreciated!

I'm not sure what you are asking, as I think you have it pegged: 16" 1987 SM500 made on June 18, 1987. Looks to be in nice shape.

Sorry, I tend to go through the posts from top to bottom without paying much attention to the sub-forum. Are you thinking upgrade or restore? I don't follow these too closely but I'd think $150 would be in the range. I'd guess you could find examples sold for much less, but that one looks to be in better than average shape.
