    Grail Bike

Convince the seller to bring the bike to the local bike shop and have them pack it for shipping. Pay for all shipping and the time of the bike shop. It requires the seller only to bring the bike somewhere. You will pay for it, but if you really want it, that's the easiest path to acquisition...

    4 hole disc brakes.

I spent a lot of time working through the discs on my F700, where the Magura hydraulics require a special fitting to bleed them properly. Setting them up perfectly was difficult if not impossible, and they still groan every once in a while. How is this relevant? Well, at the start of my Magura...

    Martyn Ashton homage build

For what it's worth, if you are painting them in fluorescent yellow like the originals and not having them powdercoated, you need to use a white primer basecoat before the fluorescent coat if you want the color to really POP. Otherwise, it's a dingy color with no "glow."

    Magura Clara Bleeding

Whoa! LOL. That's a helluva correction. I tried the push in an hold pressure on the tube method and that was a huge mess. Have some other new ideas that I'm going to try tomorrow evening.

    Magura Clara Bleeding

Soooo... not the answer I was looking for from Magura: Really not thrilled about that, quite honestly. I know these are 20-year old brakes, but that leaves me pretty weak options for getting a proper bleed on these. I guess I will be forcing it and making a mess tonight.

    Magura Clara Bleeding

Hmm... what's a venial tube? I have read a couple of posts on various forums where people have tried to stuff a rubber tube into the caliper but it doesn't work and it makes a giant mess. In the manual you posted, they show a M6 threaded fitting connected to the caliper, but the caliper is...

    Magura Clara Bleeding

Hi all, I'm having some difficulty with the bleeding process, mostly because the thread on the backside of the Clara calipers is not M6 but something else, that actually fits a ball pump needle. Is this an M8x1 or M8x1.25 thread or something else? I can't find anything anywhere about this thread...
