I've got a sr500 with a manufacture date in the serial number of oct 1987 (I guess that means it was probably sold as a 1988). I love this bike, I got it used about 18 years ago and have ridden it on and off. Nowadays, the it's not so pretty anymore and I was thinking about restoration.
