Yeah they are steel , did cannondale use this method aswell ? I’m tempted to strip the paint but I think it’s so thick maybe I’ll just do under the BB .

Yeah this is what I meant about the downtube bosses And yes the hanger has a single Allen key bolt on . Forks also steel , but heavy .

Also the down tube bosses are connected together via a thread running right through the downtube. I’m not aware of any other frames that have the Cannondale similarities like this , anyone else know any ? Klein ? Or not classy enough !

I can’t see any dot matrix stamps anywhere as the paint is so thick , its been coated with the hanger still in place . Yes steel fork , chrome plated . If it was a cannondale would it have a stamp somewhere on the frame ?

Hi all , just recently acquired this frame and fork , actually it was built up with a mixture of random parts non cannondale related so I’m wondering if this actually a Cannondale frame at all ? What do you think ?

Got the kf236 ordered , will update when it arrives and fitted . Apparently my forks do have the lockout (which never worked) DL 80 = Damper Lockout , 80mm travel :)

Scrapped the idea of trying to measure the O-Rings so gonna buy the kit , Just need to be sure of the right one ? Dunno Dunno ? Can’t get hold of qwerty to ask them directly & they’ve not replied to my email !

Ok thanks for the info , I’ve not received a reply back from qwerty (cannondale dealer) so I’ve just ordered two different size o rings on eBay . I tried to measure the original o ring using digital vernier Calipers & trying not to squash it. It’s tricky but I’ve gone for 2mm thick & 22mm...

Excellent , thanks for the link, Well mine never had any oil in the air chamber but I could have the same problem as the guy explained in being that the o ring / seal that sits on the middle of the shaft (the red piston part) could be the offending seal , it doesn’t feel like a snug fit...
