Lovely bike Stevie (Saw him for sale somewhere on a dutch site hehe), probably something to keep unless you need the cash or want something different to replace it.
Difficult to say what value could be. It's without doubt a rare bike but if you do not find someone who gives it the proper value...
I know about the Super V but that's a completely different frame. I am really interested in the Killer V/Delta V type frames. I guess there aren't any with disc mounts. Should not listhen to rumors hehe.
Does anyone know if this combo exists oficially? Never seen a killer v or delta v frame with disc mounts. But I remember reading somewhere that cannondale made them, probably in the last year or so. It could be that it was a F-serie in size small (similar delta frame construction). On the...
I am not a cx or road expert but I sure love these old cannondale cx bikes and sometimes I do a search for them just to check, you never know. This one stayed in my mind. It seems well taken care of, check for example the cable protection with tape. The red brakes are lovely.
Lol, just noticed that same bike for sale in the Netherlands but with different pictures (same blue tire). Seems a caad3 frame and I guess also a (S)R800. Is it yours? It's a lovely bike, I would change the rear tire for sure hehe
This is a work in progress and also a pain in the !@$ because of the integrated aluminium cups with a wider lower cup/bearing making it hard to fit a newer fork. (1st models with the delta fork had these)
I found this one recently for a nice price. It's a size L and bit too big for me but for that price I could not resist. Always wanted a Optimo frame and a Lefty and I got both in one nice deal.
This is my main bike, It's a great allrounder. Fast in the city but also on gravel/dirt roads
Replaced almost everything since I bought it except the frame, fork and the unique allinone stem/bar with integrated led light.
I dit notice your bad boy on the mtbr bad boy thread but it's always good to know the entire story.
You saved that beaty from a horrible dead and I bet she thanks you now with some nice rides.
Would love to have such one in that size too. Well done!
Hi guys,
I am Victor, 40 yrs old and living in Amsterdam Netherlands. In this city of bicycles I did not touch a bicycle for years but now I found my love for them again and the last 2 years I managed to find some older Cannondale models. Just love to take them apart, fix them where needed etc...
Yes I believe so. If the frames were not sold it is normal for them to use them the next year. If you look at their catalogs during the years you will notice that older frames were used on entry level models while the top models got the new frames. I have owned a F400 model using the same caad3...
