Agree with both of you. Can´t beat a brake. As soon as your grandson outgrows it keep it for him. No one knows where life will take him. If his future will be bike related your gift will provide the perfect story and proof for him.

I had to pay 2300 Deutsche Mark (more than the 1150€ today due to inflation) in 1994 for my stock M800 in Berlin/Germany - and I did. They must have at least doubled the prices for certain european markets. Germany is high tax anyway plus shipping, import fees aso.

Sorry! I forgot to mention that of course I checked the catalogs the site provides. Regarding the blue C´dale the closest I could find are the following types 1999/v1 H300, 1999/v2 H300/500 or 2000 H400.
But nothing really fits due to the Nexave group set. The frame also only allows to fit...
