    Dead of my frame ???

I have seen this before. Probably caused by a combination of design flaw and fatigue. If you can find a specialist that can weld really thin alloy, then it is worth a shot.

Where did you ride your Cannondale today?

Nice bike, looks like a Black Inc version.

Anyone know where I can source 3.0 SC800 decals?

There is a Dutch company that specializes in bike (re) painting and carbon repairs. They have a webshop that also includes Cannondale frame stickers. https://www.unlimitedwebshop.nl/c-3486310/cannondale As with most Dutch companies, there are always people that speak English. If however you...

    SUPER V carbon

That unpolished raw aluminum looks great. I have a bike with a similar finish, when I was removing the blue coating form a fork I found out by accident I likes it.

Where did you ride your Cannondale today?

It's a 2012 SuperX, seen from a distance it could look like a SuperSIx because of the similar paint scheme of the SuperSix from that era. Compared to racing bikes it has a longer wheelbase. So the bike wants to go in a straight line which gives me a comfortable feeling when cycling on wet...

Where did you ride your Cannondale today?

Today was quite cold, even though there was no wind and it is 5C it feels like sub zero. The part from the Netherlands were I live is above sea level and with a really sandy soil you would not expect so much water. This route has been closed for cycling for almost two months now, that is...

For Sale Cannondale F1000 Polished AL (medium) - 1996 CAAD3

Ow nice, a CODA Magic Crank. These were designed by the famous Alex Pong, known for the Pong bike or V4000 These bb's have become really expensive now when I look on Ebay. Great you have the original chain rings, and to answer black lightning's question, these are separate chain rings. There is...

    SRAM vs. Shimano

I also think it is 3 up or 1 down. The other advantage of Shimano. I sometimes brake and shift at the same time. Not really important, I don;t do racing, but it is nice it is possible,

    SRAM vs. Shimano

A couple of years ago I had a SuperX with SRAM force. By that time I had been riding Shimano sti for at least 25 years and still had bikes with Shimano sti. After a few trial weeks I decided to sell the SRAM Force shifters and derailleurs and fit Shimano to the bike. It was the double tap that...

    SUPER V carbon

I only now see the kit from improved parts, the loading of the images on the site takes ages so I usually do not wait for that. For my own fork i just printed something similar. I only need to design the part that holds to long bearing blades on place, this gives me inspiration to design the...

    Headshok, elastomer completely perished

Today I remodeled the elastomer a bit more so it can compress better. I have put it back into the fork and it compresses and has some travel. It the weather is ok, I will take the bike for a short ride.

    Headshok, elastomer completely perished

This weekend I rebuild the headshok, the bearing blades are now were they are supposed to be. Also last week the 1 meter elastomer bar arrived. Unfortunately it's size is 25,6 mm so it is to thick to for the fork tube. With a small grinder i got it to 24,0 - 24,5 mm. It feels quite stiff so I...

    Headshok, elastomer completely perished

I pulled this spring out of my 1998 Killer V800. Initially I thought it had just an elastomer serving as spring/damper. But I found the spring and what is left of some kind of, I guess, polyurethane. But there is more work coming up. As you can see on the first image I posted, the blades from...

    Finding the Right Red

A couple of years ago I had a neighbor who was in car repairs.(body shop) He had these color charts so we could match a frame (Kestrel) with a color on one of his charts. He made for me a sample for a few Euro's and that was enough to repair the scratches. You may need multiple of these charts...
