    Little update to this, the F1000 frame is very crusty and lots of white residue is appearing from under the paint the deeper I get into it. Ive a friend who has access to all kinds of metal testing kit so its gone to him to be looked at and make sure its still safe. The F900 is still going Viper...

    The 900 is for my little Martyn Ashton replica. The F1000 has quite a lot of corrosion on it so I'm sending it to a metallurgy specialist to make sure its safe before I get it built up. I'll be needing a Tarantula for that when the time comes!

    I think this is an F1000 but not sure....

    from top left: JL B1-0302 13615 325591 9FMN3GLG 6 could be G though. I'm getting it blasted next week so I'll be able to get a clearer indication of what it actually is. It had a road BB in it whick is making me wonder even more!

    Hi Folks, Always lusted after Cannondales in the 90's but couldnt ever afford one, so now I'm collecting them it seems! Bagged myself a rough around the edges 98 F900 complete bike, thats going Viper Red with XTR and correct CODA bits hopefully. Just picked up what i think is a 99 F1000 frame...

    Very crusty and bubbled purpleen paint. I'm going to get it soda blasted and refinished provided its all ok. Poor thing has been very unloved, I'll try and rescue it. Plan is to build a Tinker Rep/Tribute and paint it blue
